She is impressive for a woman (Or compared to the average civilian regardless of sex), respect. Being in Special Operations or general soldiering for combat arms is not about passing a PT test, that is the easy part, and those standards are the minimum, to be competitive most men do much higher than the standards. The real test is training or being operational 18 hours a day on limited food, sleep, and under high stress when the body is breaking down. The weapon of a warrior is the mind, that is the true force multiplier, not the body. Anyone can be a gym rat in the perfect conditions, I have seen very "Tough men" in great shape quit in training courses.

I tried that before and I got the same time she did on swimming and push-ups I got 59 and for sit ups I got 51. By the time I was done I felt like I ran more than one mile. On a treadmill. for 100 days. Does that make sense let me know.?

The standards given are really just the bare minimum, and you’d need to score much higher than those to have a better chance throughout training. More competitive enlisted scores would be 9:30 swim, 75 pushups, 75 sit ups, 15 pull ups, and 9:30 for the run, and officer scores would need to be even higher. But, especially considering there is no female test, you did a really good job!

Good way to increase pushups... Pick a number goal, say 10-15. When you get to 15, elevate your feet a bit. Drop back down to 10. Keep progressing and raising your feet. Eventually flat push ups will seem so easy you'll swear the floor is rising up to meet you. I got to 100 within 2 minutes, and I wasn't a SEAL.

I was at Group One in Coronado. Not a SEAL, but those guys were fantastic. Just about every morning they did open water swims for a couple miles. This fitness test, while rigorous, is only a tiny tip of a huge iceberg.

Crack on love, this trend of pushing oneself is grate. When I did this we had to do the run in boon dockers (U.S.Nav.boot)and the proctors seemed to have NO need for 2 min. rest, just "Go Go gogo NOW BOOT!" Even as I was a transfer from the Army top tier community the grad P.T test is HELL!

Maybe the type of forces fitness test you are doing , could be supported eg us NbyAcadTrust sells, support their best charity - nd Thor who support you as n ex of that type will be able to suggest which ones help on the ground from experience. Solid stuff. Only thing I’ll add is the pushups. Gotta make sure your feet and legs are touching and not spread out like you had it. Also, any hand adjustment or feet adjustment stops your time and reps Other than that. Great stuff. Any SOF entry level test is challenging at first..but that’s only the beginning and things will get much much harder lol

It's nice to see a woman trying to face physical challenge that many males fail, instead of bragging that they should lower the standards instead.
