Could you do a coffee or caffiene video? Do you drink it? Why its effective or why coffee isnt effective. Is the crash worth the benefits? Im debsting whether to stop drinking coffee but it dehydrates, makes your serotonin crash, and makes a build up of gaba in your brain. I feel like it depletes the body of water and gives wrinkles and makes you pee. I wonder what your research is and what your routine with caffiene is. Thank you!

I really needed to hear all of this. I am relatively new to fitness and wellness (only a month of consistent exercise but I have a lot of failed attempts on my record) and this advice is pure gold. I was actually doing some of those things instictively, like switching the days of low impact cardio and resistance depending on my mood and eneegy or taking an unplanned rest day because of unforseen factors... Instead of being happy for making it work with a few adjustments I kept beating myself up for not sticking to the original plan. I am not gonna do that anymore. If this is going to last I need to make it as easy on myself as possible.

Hey! What do you really call "intense"? Maybe my intense isn't the intense that you mean, so I am asking

Måned siden
sofia greka
sofia greka

I think she means intense for you. If you are a beginner obviously this is going to look a lot different, than what it would be like for an athlete. But I think it generally means a workout that lives you completely drained, so much that you feel the aftermath for at least two days, it doesn't matter if that same workout would feel easy for someone else. You could check out her other video "how to tell you had a good workout" for further reference.

Er, Natasha, I see a lot of people talking about lifting weights and doing resistance training to burn more fat and tone up. I've been working out for 4 months without any equipments. I only do body weight exercises because I can't afford weights right now or even resistant bands. I want to get leaner and stronger but with only body weight exercises considering where I am financially right now lol. So, I was wondering if it was possible to attain that lean muscle look with ONLY body weight exercises for a long period of time. Also, I became underweight but I still haven't achieved all of my goals. I still want a smaller waist/flatter belly/visible abs and all. I still want to tone up my inner thighs. Do I have to be in a calorie deficit to achieve this? Im already underweight. I'd really appreciate a response from you.

Not an expert on the subject, but I've seen some of my male and female friends get really good results (lean muscle building) with calisthenics only, you could look up on youtube and try some calisthenics basic exercises to begin with, and of course you should eat/drink enough to be able to perform correctly and build muscle ;) hope this helps!

When we fuel up before we exercise, aren't we just using the energy that we have just eaten up for it? Doesn't this mean that I'm just burning what I just ate and not burning any extra stored calories, so it is as if I did not burn any fat at all, only just making sure that the food I ate doesn't turn to fat? Sorry if this might seem like a stupid question

Your videos are always a breath of fresh air and a hopeful place for me to be inspired. Because you have a very relieving and gracious atmosphere about you and the way you talk about fitness and health does not condemn anyone or tell people everything that they are doing wrong and what they should stop eating, rather you do the opposite and teach your viewers that it's okay to allow yourself to eat even if you haven't trained in the past 48 hours. In all aspects, your advice is soothing to my mentality and it takes the pressure off of trying to do everything perfectly all the time. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you show what it's like to have real expectations in every way humanly possible. I appreciate it. To me, that's just beautiful and I thank you so much for what you do.

I have a question, I don't know if it will ever be answer but here it is, I never understood this : if I look up how much time food takes to be digested, it takes a few hours just to leave the stomach, and then it might take a day only to be completely digested and ready to be used SO why do people focus so much on pre-workouts and during workout supplements and food and how it relates to their workout, technically isn't the fuel your body is using in that moment probably what you ate yesterday or maybe this morning ? So if you wanted a specific nutrient to be available IN the workout you'd have to consume it many many hours before for it to be available in that moment no ?

The first tip literally blew my mind and will definitely change my training style. Just one week ago I got my second injury of the year (now achilles tendon, in September my knee) and I'm so sad about it! Before I never had any problems! However, reflecting on my training sessions throughout a week, I would aim for a 90-110% literally 5-6 days a week and never giving my body a full day to recover. I thought that that was the only way to achieve my goals but you're totally right, the rehabilitation part is so freaking important. Super annoyed that the coming weeks/months I have to build everything up again but due to this I'm more motivated to create a healthy balance within my training schedule! x

Hey sweetie! So for muscle imbalances it’a very individual. If I’m trying to fix an imbalance I look at the whole body rather than just isolating a particular muscle as it goes beyond just one glute being stronger than the other as you’ll have other muscles engaging to compensate for any weakness. For me when I had a weaker glute I was engaging my lower back and hamstrings to compensate. I needed to properly isolate the movement of the glute by lying down on the ground front forward and lifting the leg back and up using just my glute. It took a lot of time, With Little to no weight (: In your workout you can also add an extra set per exercise on your weak glute until you feel more even. And focusing on asymmetric movements (: Hope this helps! Xxx
