I usually can’t make it 1/2 a mile before I have to gasp for air and plan my funeral but I tried these techniques and let me tell you I was straight COASTING for 6 miles!! Imo one of the bets things you can do, is either develop the calluses to run bare foot, or get those super minimal shoes that allow the foot to do its job. Too much foot support, like what most sneakers give you will develop weaknesses in your foot muscles and increase risk of injury, as well as decrease efficiency. That said, i'm no running expert. I'm a hiker at heart.

Thank you sooo much Natacha! I haven’t been able to run after my knee injury because I felt pain all over my body and it got to the point where I just hated running. But after watching your video, I realized that there were multiple things wrong with my form. I decided to go out for a run today and make adjustments. I was able to find that refreshing feeling during and after my run today, which I haven’t felt since my knee injury. My muscles burned but it was a good type of pain, if that makes sense haha. I’m watching your other vids as well and they are super informative! Thx again ^~^

omg this is soooo interesting, in highschool I always got corrected by my PE teacher to roll off my feet during running exercises (sprint and middle distance on flat surfaces) because I preferred running mostly on the ball of my feet.. Really I always have thought I did something wrong these past 10+ years XD maybe I'll start getting into running again and do some extra research.
