If the bulking phase can last from 3 to more months, how long does the cutting last? I wouldn't want to overdo it with cardio and lose my muscles. So if you're in a cutting phase, for how long and how many times a week should you do cardio? And how long in general does the cutting phase last? Hi Natasha, I don't know if you'll reply to this or see this but I am struggling. I have had a very bad relationship with food for pretty much my whole life. I am working on it and it's all thanks to you but now I'm struggling with my weight. I have fluctuated in weight for ages. I was over 110kg when I was 17 and then I lost 50kg from restricting food. Since then it's been a battle to get my dream body. I have put on weight and now in the process of losing it. I am doing a mixture of cardio and weight strength training but..... My waist is starting to bulk. I am definitely thinner but I am not getting that hourglass figure I used to have or dream of. My butt has always been flat and I am trying to bulk it up but I am struggling. Do you have any advice on exercises,what I can do to get this body and why it might not be working. I would 100% have bought your plan but I am struggling to even pay for my gym membership...this is really important to my mental health as it is starting to really affect my depression and self love. I needed this video sooo much, though I have to add one thing you kinda mentioned, too: I'm having quite a good/low weight for my height, I look skinny, I am skinny, BUT... I have a prettyyy high body fat %. (And a bit too much fat in general right now, like a tiny belly e.g.) I was first considering bulking first, but have read, if you have a body fat % over 23% it might be a good idea to cut first, as you will gain some fat during bulking. Good point though, about bulking first to make cutting easier!

Hi Natacha, been watching your past videos to resolve my current problem.I guess I’m in the cutting phase, having lost 12.5 kg already 22.5 kg to go. IBM 27.8, fat % 29.3, scale 73.5 kg and height 5’4” (around US size 8). I’m careful not to under-eat even though I do have a 500 cal deficit and I recently did a carb cycle for 2 weeks. I train intensely 5 times per week including 2 boot camps, 1 upper body (hypotrophy), 1 lower body, 1 cardio (think soul cycle). I’ve been gaining a lot of muscle (arms, glutes, back, thighs. I even see ab definition), but because my fat are still prominent, I still look aesthetically big. How can I improve? Some say to train lower weights and increase reps to build denser muscle, while my fat is cutting. What’s your take?? Interested in any feedback.

Hi Natacha as much as I enjoyed your videos, I feel like this one is not for overweight/obese people. They have to cut and they have to cut more than 10%! I feel like this video was just aimed at some one with 20lbs or less weight to lose. A 20% deficit is more suitable for obese people. Their bodies can handle deficits better.
